Doctors & nurses

A quick guide for clinical staff: report faulty equipment, follow it up, and confirm it was fixed.

Your sidebar shows Home and a Workspace with My Requests, Approvals, Hospital Maintenance & IT and Inventory.

Report a faulty device

  1. Scan the sticker on the device with your phone camera.
  2. Log in if asked, then select Create a service request.
  3. Tick Equipment is down if it can't be used, describe the problem, add error codes or a photo.
  4. Submit.
  1. Open Inventory and find the device.
  2. Select Request Service, then fill in the form as above.

Scan the sticker and report the fault publicly. You'll need the department's verification code — ask your ward in-charge. See QR codes.

Your request may first need a branch admin's approval before it goes to the engineers. You'll see its status change in My Requests.

Follow up

Open My Requests to see every request you raised and its status — see Statuses.

Confirm the work

When an engineer completes the job, you're asked to confirm it.

  1. Open Approvals (Job Card Approvals).
  2. Open the job card, check the work, and select Sign off job card.
  3. Not fixed properly? Select Raise a concern and explain. The engineer's Head is notified.

If you don't respond within 3 days, the sign-off moves on without you.

Non-medical problems

Broken lights, plumbing, doors or IT? Use Hospital Maintenance & IT — see Maintenance & IT.
